I'M ANDREW

I use my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro to create cool stuff!

I'm from Northern Ireland, a dad to three amazing kids and married to a wonderful wife. With over 20 years in design and video work, my skills cover a lot - from video and drones to visual effects, motion graphics, photography, graphic design and AI.

In 2022, I started a YouTube channel (mainly focused on Affinity Photo on the iPad) to share what I know and help others learn about design and video making. It's a great way to pass on what I've learned and connect with others who love being creative.

Also in 2022, when I discovered DALL·E2 and ChatGPT, I was completely blown away by the possibilities of using AI creatively, and from that moment on, I was hooked.

Since then, I’ve been diving deep into AI, taking courses, experimenting, and learning as much as I can to push the creative boundaries of what’s possible. Fast forward to the end of 2024, after making countless AI videos and putting my skills to the test, I placed 4th out of 440 entries in the Curious Refuge AI video-making competition. That moment gave me the push I needed to take things even further.

At the end of 2024, I started another YouTube channel, completely dedicated to using AI creatively and sharing what I’ve learned along the way.
